I am not ready, and that is okay
Blazer: H&M / Dress: Heavenly Couture / Heels: Guess
This dress is lovely to me because it is split into two closely related colors; the left side is red and the right is hot pink. I paired it with a blush colored blazer and nude heels in order to keep the focus the dress.
A mantra of mine lately has been "I am not ready yet, and that is okay". For a perfectionist like me who always feels like I am behind schedule and need to catch up that is a difficult task. I thought by this year I would be ready to try out for Project Runway. But I did not foresee all the prerequisites I'd have to complete before delving into my fashion design major. Despite having already completed a lot of hard work in my program, I will only be starting my design classes this fall. So with a sign of sadness which was followed by relief, I said to myself "I am not ready yet, and that is okay". And I actually believe it.
